
Enugu state governor, Dr Peter Mbah has inaugurated the reconstituted Judicial Service Commission with a charge to uphold the tenets of the job.
The commission chaired by the state chief judge, justice Raymond Ozoemena has among other members, the president, Customary Court of Appeal, Justice George Nnamani and the state Attorney General and the commissioner for Justice, Barr Kingsley Udeh.
Naijacentral Online reports that the governor while describing the commission as a very integral part of the judicial sector, tasked the members to entrench their wealth of experience in the system.
Responding on behalf of other members of the commission, the state Chief Judge, Justice Raymond Ozoemena assured the governor of their commitment to discharging their duty diligently.
The Judicial Service Commission is a statutory body responsible for, among other things, the appointment, promotion and discipline of Judicial and non-Judicial Staff.
