Technology entrepreneur and digital media expert, Oseji Alexander, is set to host the inaugural Learning247 Creators Summit in Enugu, in partnership with the Enugu State Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.
Addressing newsmen in Enugu ahead of the summit Alexander, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Autoware Africa and Co-Founder of Hallos (formerly Learning247), said it is designed to bring together creators, educators, innovators, and digital entrepreneurs to explore community-driven learning models and the future of Africa’s digital economy.
According to him, the event will focus on knowledge-sharing, digital skills development, and the use of technology to bridge education gaps, particularly at the grassroots level.
Alexander explained that Hallos (www.hallos.net) was developed as a hyperlocal, peer-to-peer learning platform that enables individuals to teach and learn through live, community-based classes.
He noted that the summit will serve as a practical extension of this vision by connecting stakeholders within the education and creative ecosystems.
He said the partnership with the Enugu State Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology reflects a growing commitment by the state government to support innovation, digital inclusion, and the creator economy.
Alexander, a former Solutions Developer and Digital Media Specialist, has held senior management roles across public relations, marketing, and technology firms. He said his professional background shaped his interest in building scalable platforms that combine technology with social impact.
As CEO of Autoware Africa, Alexander oversees a smart home automation and consumer electronics company with operations in Nigeria and other African markets.
He added that lessons from the technology sector have influenced his approach to building learning communities through digital platforms.
Organisers of the summit said preparations are ongoing, with details on the date, venue, and programme to be announced in the coming weeks.
