The South East Movement for President Tinubu 2027, a support group, has felicitiated with Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State who celebrated his 54th birthday on March 17 and Amb Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Nigeria Ambassador to Greece who was immediate past Governor of Enugu State who celebrated his 62nd birthday on March 20th
In a press statement issued at the end of its meeting on Saturday and signed by the Movement National Chairman, Prof. Damian Opata, the Movement described Gov, Mbah and Amb. Ugwuanyi as illustrious sons of Enugu State whó have contributed immensely to the development of Enugu State.
The Movement described Gov. Mbah as an ethical leader who has brought tremendous achievements in Enugu State over the past two years.
“Enugu State has witnessed momentous transformations anchored by vision, dedication and service to the people.
” The governor’s determination to position the state on the global map through innovative governance, massive infrastructures and impactful policies is highly commendable
“The Movement has no doubt that the governor will continue to soar to greater heights, break new grounds in order to achieve his vision of making Enugu State the best state in Nigeria.
“We joyfully wish Gov. Mbah many more years in good health and renewed strength as he continues his good work and quality leadership in the state, the statement said.
Also in the statement, the South East Movement for President Tinubu 2027, felicitiated with Ambassador Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, acknowledging his positive impacts and valuable contributions during his eight years as the governor of Enugu State.
“The former governor demonstrated uncommon humility and accessibility during his administration which endeared him to all and sundry.
” His recent appointment by President Bola Tinubu as an Ambassador of Nigeria to Greece is a reward of his good performance as a former governor.
The Movement heartily wish him many more years in good health as he continues to offer selfies service to humanity,” the statement added.
