The management of the National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC ) , Enugu state, wishes to inform prospective Corps members deployed to Enugu State for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation course, parents, guardians and general public that the commencement date for the exercise has been rescheduled.
The Orientation course, earlier scheduled to commence on Wednesday 22nd April 2026,will now begin on Tuesday 28th April 2026 at the NYSC permanent Orientation Camp .
A Statement by the state Coordinator NYSC Enugu State , Mrs. Oluwakemi Awolola Says , this adjustment became necessary to allow for the completion of ongoing renovation and facility upgrade works at the Orientation Camp by the Enugu State Government.
Emphasizing that the improvements are aimed at enhancing camp infrastructure , strengthening safety measures, and providing a more conducive environment for the successful conduct of the orientation course.
The Statement further stated that, NYSC Enugu State regrets any inconvenience this change May cause and assures prospective Corps members and stakeholders that the decision was taken in the overall interest of safety, comfort and efficient camp operations.
The Statement therefore advise all prospective Corps Members deployed to Enugu State to take note of the new date and adjust their traveling plans accordingly. They are also encouraged to regularly check the NYSC portal and official communication channels for further updates.
