The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has congratulated Gov. Peter Mbah of Enugu State, as he marks his 54th birthday on March 17.
The goodwill message is contained in a statement issued by the group’s National Publicity Secretary, Dr Ezechi Chukwu, on Tuesday in Enugu.
In the message, the organisation commended Mbah’s “visionary leadership, steadfast commitment to good governance and resolute drive toward the transformation of Enugu State.”
Ohanaeze noted that the governor’s administration had inspired renewed hope, economic growth and sustainable development within the state and beyond.
The group further praised Mbah’s initiatives in infrastructural development, investment promotion, human capital advancement and security, describing them as benchmarks for purposeful leadership in Igbo land.
It quoted the President-General of the organisation, Azuta Mbata, saying “Gov. Peter Mbah’s contributions to the development of Enugu State and his commitment to the broader progress of Igbo land reflect a focused and responsible approach to leadership.”
Ohanaeze also offered prayers for the governor, asking God to grant him greater wisdom, strength and good health as he continued to serve the people of Enugu State.
The organisation expressed optimism that the years ahead would bring Mbah greater accomplishments and a lasting legacy of service.
